Privacy policy

This page describes what information HedgeFundAI collects, why, and how long it is kept.

Information we collect

• Business profile — the basic information you give us about your business (name, industry, contact details, and the plan or service tier you choose).
• Connector read scopes — the read-only access you grant when you connect a tool (for example, an accounting or email platform), scoped to what that connection needs.
• Assistant transcripts — your conversations with the in-workspace AI assistant, so it can help you and so we can review quality and safety.
• Audit events — a record of key actions taken in your workspace (sign-ins, approvals, connector changes), kept for accountability and security.

Why we collect it

• Operating your workspace and keeping it available and secure.
• Billing for the service tier you have chosen.
• Responding to support requests.
• Improving the service based on how it is actually used.

Who else sees it

We use a small number of sub-processors to run HedgeFundAI. Each only sees what it needs to do its job:

• Microsoft Azure — hosting and infrastructure.
• Stripe — payment processing and billing.
• OpenAI — assistant draft and chat generation, only when AI assistance is enabled for your workspace.

AI model providers may change; material changes to sub-processors will be notified to beta participants.

How long we keep it

• Business profile (intake) — kept while your workspace is active.
• Audit events — kept for at least 12 months.
• Assistant transcripts — kept for 30 days by default.
• Connector secrets — cleared as soon as you revoke a connection.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

• Access the information we hold about your business.
• Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your information, subject to what we must legally retain.
• Export your information in a portable format.

This section is being finalized with legal counsel before general availability; the private-beta terms above apply in the meantime.

Changes to this policy

Because this is a private beta, this policy may change. Changes will be posted on this page, and we will notify beta participants directly of any material change.
